What could be going through my head. Starting a new blog? I must be crazy! My idea is simple, to share some of my knowledge of photography gained through years of experience with you. This sounds like work to me. When will I find the time? Between my busy studio shooting schedule and my participation as an exhibiting artist at local and regional art fairs and festivals around the Midwestern United States I barely have time to eat. Well, its really not that bad but still, time is precious.
The fact of the matter is that I owe it to myself to return what I have learned over the years to a broader audience. I have emassed a degree of expertise that should not disappear when I disappear from the earth. So the ethical thing to do is to return the gift given to me freely and without obligation to complete strangers; to the readers of this blog.

For the next few weeks I will be concentrating on landscape photogrpahy. I have some strong beliefs about shooting landscapes and how one should consider displaying those photographs once printed. So stay tuned for more to come…
